The Future of Aberdeen’s Past

The Medico-Chirurgical Society holds a valuable archive and collection of medical artefacts. This inheritance should not be seen in isolation but as an integral part of our shared North-East Scotland historic and cultural heritage.

In this evening organised by Professor George Youngson we will be exploring our common interests with other local heritage organisations and discussing how this vital part of our unique local identity can be conserved for generations to come – the Future of Aberdeen’s Past.

We have invited speakers from Our Union Street, Aberdeen Med-Chi, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Society of Advocates and Seven Incorporated Trades.

There will be time for discussion in each session and a short break for refreshments at 8pm.
We plan to finish at 9:30.
